$1.2 bn Loss for Giant Manufacturer " NOKIA "

A Giant Manufacture company of Mobile phones "Nokia" noted a huge loss than what officials expected . Net $ 1.2 Bn loss, Last week Nokia issue a profit warning from their statistics, but the net loss of 929 million euros ($1.2 billion) in the first quarter of the year was far beyond the loss of 554 million euros broadly expected. Some Analyst believed to be a poor business sales in smartphones lead to huge loss.
Nokia posted an operating loss of 1.34 billion euros over the period, almost double the loss of 731 million euros expected by analysts , the main reason came front by Smartphones sales fell by 42 percent in the quarter.(Numbers: source- Times)
Nokia development its different strategy changes in their Symbian OS and keeping and depending heavily on the new phones to help maintain its ranking as the world's biggest maker of mobile phones as it operates in a rapidly changing landscape.
