Indian Government Blocked Torrent and Video sharing websites !

Most popular file-sharing websites has been reportedly blocked by the India's Department of Telecommunications Is is still not known why the websites has been blocked. Some of the most used website piratebay, extra torrents and others torrent based websites blocked near noon time on Friday without any further notices.Interestingly, torrent sites are not the only target. A similar block is also restricted access to the popular video sharing platform Vimeo, widely used by filmmakers to share their work.

This block raid turned into implementation by “John Doe order” which prohibited Internet providers from allowing subscriber access to unauthorized copies an upcoming Bollywood movies and other files.
Sources from times of India reporsts , Sanjay Tandon, VP - Music & Anti-Piracy, Reliance Entertainment added, "All websites like Megaupload and Filesonic are located out of India and such sites rampantly promote online piracy. In fact, steps such as the John Doe order are the only step that we copyright owners are left with."
The most torrent sites is already blocked in numerous countries, most recently the United Kingdom (UK). And with the current pro-blocking climate is developing in various countries.
