US banking giant Citigroup on Tuesday closed the biggest commercial property deal , shelling out Rs 950 crore for about 3 lakh sq ft spread over six floors in a 12-storey building in the Bandra-Kurla Complex (Mumbai ,India). Citigroup Inc signed an agreement to acquire 297000 square feet of office space for for Rs 985 crore INR (Indian Rupees). "This investment represents yet another significant commitment by Citi to its franchise in India," the newspaper quoted a Citi spokesperson as saying.
